Subterranean aiming for Group 1 glory on Saturday at Eagle Farm

Last start Group 3 winner Subterranean is aiming for group 1 glory on Saturday when he lines up in the million dollar Sires Produce over 1400 meters at Eagle Farm.

The son of Rebel Dane is spot on after a solid hit-out last Saturday and heads into the race with plenty of confidence. A step up to the 1400 meters is ideal and leading hoop Nash Rawiller is in the saddle again on the weekend.

It's a wide open Sires Produce with plenty of chances and we expect Subterranean to be right in the finish with a little luck from the tricky gate.

Weekend runners and trials

Other weekend runners include Our Echo at Royal Casino today in race 2. He was good first up when finishing off strongly and we look to have found a really suitable race. We expect the popular grey to win today.

Snitz aims to back up his last start second in the Listed Takeover Target Stakes with another strong performance at Randwick on Saturday. He has found the strongest open handicap race in Sydney for some time with plenty of depth. The drop back to the 1100 meters is not ideal and the rise in weights to 59kgs makes it tough. In saying that we feel he has recaptured his old form and if he can roll along in the first three at a good tempo he should be right in the finish and is a nice eachway chance at odds.

Flashy mare Autumn Splendour is a potential starter in race 7 at the Gold Coast. She has the visitors draw in barrier 12 of 12 and we may save her for another day.

A number of horses set for barrier trials at the Gold Coast on Monday with Divine Eleven trialing for the second time this preparation, whilst Vivendo il Sogno (aka Mal) steps out for the first time this campaign.

Most attention will be on 2 year old Derry Grove (by Star Turn) who trials for the first time in his career. It's always an exciting time for owners seeing the young horses hit the turf for the first time.

Staying filly Stella Reale is expected to trial Sunday week 6 June on her home track at Murwillumbah.

Shares Available: Divine Eleven

Last few shares are available in staying gelding Divine Eleven trained by Matthew Dunn at Murwillumbah.

The four year old has impressed in the early part of his preparation to date with a solid trial at Deagon recently. He heads off to a second trial at the Gold Coast on Monday and will be at the races soon after.

We are extremely confident Divine Eleven will win at least a couple of few Brisbane Metropolitan races in the next 6 months.

Lightly raced staying prospects are hard to come by and Divine Eleven presents a great opportunity for owners to jump into a metro quality gelding.

Costs are $3,550 per 5% which includes purchase price, transport, spelling, training and all other related costs until 1 May 2022.
