SANGLIER IN THE FRAME FOR KOSCIUSZKO RUN

The Matt Dunn trained Sanglier has put his name up for a Kosciuszko run after a solid first up effort at Eagle Farm where he finished third in a Class 6 Handicap over 1000 meters only beaten 0.8 lengths after being trapped three wide the trip. The lightly raced four year old gelding will take huge improvement from the run after only heading to the races off the back of one trial and looks to be peaking at the right time. Sanglier is a classy prospect – being multiple stakes placed as a 2 year old behind the likes Long Leaf, Oohood and Sunset Watch. Sanglier was formally Godolphin owned and trained by James Cummings before being purchased by Viva Racing last year and transferred to Matt Dunn
