Michael Costa is one Queensland leading trainers with his stables based at the Gold Coast.

 

Michael is well known for his innovative training methods and treats each racehorse as an individual, an elite ‘equine athlete’.

 

Since Michael relocated the Michael Costa Racing stable from Sydney to the Gold Coast in 2016 he has established one of the best winning strike rates in the country from his small-to-medium sized team of horses. In season (2017/18), Michael Costa Racing recorded 41 winners at an enviable strike rate of 21.2 per cent.

 

In season 2019.20 Michael celebrated his first Group success with Supergiant winning the Group 3 Gunsynd Classic at Eagle Farm.
