Rare opportunity ……lightly raced stayer who is a last start Sydney winner!!!

 

Viva Racing is delighted to have purchased 5 year old gelding Master Copy at a great price.

 

He is an import from Ireland who had his first two career starts overseas before heading to John O'Shea in Sydney.

 

Master Copy can sprint in the early part of his preparation as demonstrated by winning his second Australian start over 1400 meters and third start over 1600 meters, however his best trip is ridden a little softer between 1600 to 2000 meters.

 

Master Copy has raced in the tough Sydney metro circuit where his form is strong. He finished a close third behind dual Listed winner Naval College last year.

 

His last start in Sydney was a strong win over 1900 meters at Canterbury where he came from last on the turn to record a dominant win.

Master Copy has had a short 4 week spell and has been transferred up to Matt Dunn at Murwillumbah.

 

We love placing tried horses out of Sydney and Melbourne metro regions with Matt. It’s a proven formular that has worked time and time again. Country training environment, drop back in grade, country restricted races in NSW and Sydney, along with metro races in Brisbane. There is some much prizemoney on offer!!

 

Master Copy will thrive racing in the staying races in Brisbane, which we believe are some of the weakest metro races in the country. 

 

We are of the view he will win several Saturday metro races over 1600 meters in Brisbane.

 

If he can improve a little further he can measure up in races over the Brisbane winter and summer carnivals.
